For me, therapy is teaching me to notice and face the challenges in life rather than to avoid them and turn to distractions. It’s also helped me practice talking through and analysing my thoughts and feelings.
(A Kind Place has helped) bring up my awareness and help me to understand my struggles. (It has also helped me) feel alive again, giving me hope and confidence to live on.
A lifetime of wounds isn’t going to be healed in a couple months, or even a few years… Healing takes time… But at the end of the day it’s an investment into your current and future wellbeing.
(My counsellor is great) in terms of helping me figure out my emotions and finding out what actually matters to me. I have learnt so much… and I can feel the difference it has made in my day-to-day life, and I love it.
