Hi there, I’m Joanne! Before becoming a therapist, I worked many years in the media industry. Throughout my previous career, I have crossed paths with many people across various nationalities, cultures and background. It was the challenges and struggles that I heard and witnessed during that journey that got me thinking of how I, as an individual, can help others who are going through a tough time.

It is through a combination of Person-Centred approaches and different integrative counselling techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, that I will assist clients in their therapy journey to uncover the best version of themselves, and build a resilient them.

I believe that everyone’s life journey may not have been smooth throughout. You and everyone else, have the right to heal from your trauma, pain and stresses to attain happiness and to live a flourishing life. The moments of despair that you had experienced may make you feel as though you are all alone, but if you reach out for help, you are never alone. You don’t have to journey through life alone, let me take this journey with you.

“If we can open up a little bit more to each other and share our stories, our real stories, that’s what breaks down barriers. But in order to do that, you have to believe that your story has value. Be vulnerable. Dare to be vulnerable.” – Michelle Obama
